Insurance, reduced fees and cancellations

Private health insurance. I’m a recognised provider with AXA Health, Aviva, Vitality and WPA. With most insurers, sessions are covered in full within your policy limits, and I invoice the insurer directly. With WPA there may be a shortfall between what they pay and my fee; if so, I’ll confirm it with you in writing before we begin.

Before your first session, contact your insurer to get an authorisation code and check how many sessions, or how much outpatient cover, your policy includes. When that runs out, you’re welcome to continue at my standard fee.

Reduced fees. I keep a small number of reduced-fee places for people on lower incomes. Please ask when you get in touch.

Cancellations. Your session time is reserved for you each week. If you need to cancel, please let me know as early as you can. With notice, I’ll do my best to offer an alternative time that week. If we can’t find one and the session has to be missed, it’s charged at 50% of the fee. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed, are charged in full. Insurers don’t pay for cancelled or missed sessions, so any cancellation charge is payable by you directly.

Payment is by bank transfer, card or PayPal.
